Arsenal Transfer News

Mathieu Flamini has left Arsenal and gone to AC Milan in the Seria A. Flamini had been at Arsenal since 2004 making 153 appearances for the Gunners. He had a tight grasp on his first team spot this season and truely developed as a player. Flamini left the club on a free transfer.

Alex Hleb is currently surronded by transfer rumours. The 27 year old Hleb has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in the Seria A.

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger sees the move as unlikely because of the ‘Webster Clause’ and the complacations involved. Wenger has also threatened to report Inter to FIFA if they try to transfer Hleb on the terms ‘illegal move’.

Wenger has plans for Hleb for next season and is not too keen on losing Hleb or any other players after Flamini’s move.

I Think the only thing we can do is to bring competition among our strikes, had being mr adebayor has another striker to competite with will have a better season than this.Another thing is that we should try as much as possible to bring obafemi martins from Newcastle united.
