Stan Set For Huddersfield Post

Stan Ternent, the former Gills manager and current assistant manager at Championship-bound Derby County, looks set to be named as the new manager of League One rivals Huddersfield Town.

The No.1 position at Huddersfield Town has been vacant since Andy Ritchie left the Terriers on 1st April by mutual consent. And now Ternent - given permission to join the Terriers from Derby County - looks set to fill that gap.

Derby County chairman Adam Pearson said: “We have given Stan permission to join Huddersfield as manager. We have not sought any compensation from them”.
