Leeds yesterday (22/07/09) signed Australian international centre back Patrick Kisnorbo. According to Kisnorbo joined United in the face of interest from a host of Championship clubs, including Derby County and Crystal Palace, after former club Leicester City decided not to renew his contract.

According to todays papers Macca is looking to bring in 25 year old striker Enoch Showunmi, he is a Bristol City player but currently out on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, Dennis Wise tried to sign him before he jumped ship to Newcastle but Showunmi chose to head to Sheffield instead.
