Fergie interested in El Kun

An unnamed English club, “one of the best teams in Europe”, as his agent stated, is very interested in securing Sergio Aguero’s signature from Atletico Madrid. This club is thought to be Manchester United, with Sir Alex Ferguson pondering a bid for the sensational Argentine striker, who has flourished in Spain after the departure of Fernando Torres. However, we must wait and see where Aguero’s heart lies, as former teammate Fernando Torres was also tipped to become a Red Devil, before he made it clear that he’s a lifelong Liverpool fan.

Should Berbatov’s move get too complicated, with Tottenham holding out for £30 million for the striker, then Ferguson would be likely to bid for the much-younger option who can go on to become another world-class gem for the club. Last season, El Kun, as he is nicknamed after a Japanese cartoon, scored 20 goals for Atletico Madrid, and seeing him partner Rooney and international teammate Tevez is the dream of every Man Utd supporter. Unfortunately, it would take near £40 million to convince Atletico Madrid to sell, but Ferguson stated that the Glazers would back him if he told them that he needs a potential world-class talent.
