Totti major doubt for Red Devils clash

Roma skipper Francesco Totti is a major doubt for the Champions League quarter-final match to be played on Tuesday against the Red Devils. Thumb-sucker Totti injured his thigh during the Serie A match against Cagliari on Saturday, which ended in a draw of 1-1. The Roma website said that the situation will be analysed in then next few days to have a clear view of Francesco’s condition. It seems that the Italian comedian will require some massage treatments from his Ilary Blasi to be able to play against the Red Devils on Tuesday

In the last few days, Ferguson said that Roma may have serious problems in Europe due to being still in contention for the Italy Serie A title. The Red Devils are more relaxed at the top of the English table and can afford to rotate and rest their key players. Not the same can be said for Roma, which have not yet had their revenge for the 7-1 dumping they received in last season’s Champions League edition. Fergie’s men must stay focussed in both encounters to make the lost of this possible advantage that they may have. On paper, very few can argue that the Roma team deserves more than the Red Devils to be in the Semi-finals of the 2008 competition.
